Jamyoung Jepa's Institution
Jamyoung Jepa Ringpoche from Labrang monastery was the founder of Gomang monastery. He has the highest authority and the largest impact on the success of the monastery's spiritual life. His residence was rebuilt in the 1990s.
Nichong Temple
The Nichung Temple was rebuilt in 2000. Nichung is one of the protector deities of Gomang monastery. The great Master Padmasambhava appointed Nechung as the protector of Tibetan Buddhism in the eighth century AD.
Thamchen Temple
In the 8th century, Thamchen Dorje Lekpa promised Guru Padmasambhava to protect the Tantric Tradition of Buddhism. When the second Jamyoung Jepa Rinpoche founded Gomang Monastery he appointed Thanchen Dorje Lekpa as the protector of the Tantric College. The rebuilding of Thamchen Temple was sponsored by Harwa Ringpoche and was completed in 2003.
